Areas of expertise

With over 25 years of experience in M&A, private equity and corporate law, I assist French and international clients with their external growth operations (mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, strategic alliances), structuring and monitoring their corporate law issues (corporate governance, compliance), cross-border investments and related litigation and arbitration.
I work in particular in the energy, healthcare, new technologies, tourism, transport, agri-food and financial services sectors.

My main areas of expertise are:

  • External growth operations: assisting entrepreneurs and companies in all stages of their mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures and strategic alliances, from the negotiation of the letter of intent to the finalisation of the transaction.
  • Corporate law and governance: structuring and monitoring corporate law issues (corporate governance, shareholders’ agreements, intra-group reorganisations, compliance) at every stage of a company’s development.
  • Cross-border investments: assisting French and international clients with their cross-border investments.
  • Litigation and arbitration: support for clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings that may arise from the above transactions.

Advising Italian public transport group ATM on entering the French market and establishing a presence in France;
Advising a Chinese animal health group on the restructuring of its operations in France;
Advising a British fund on its investment in a French listed group in the automotive sector;
Advising a British fintech company on its fundraising operations in France;
Advising the German group Stabilus on the French aspects of the acquisition of the American group Destaco in the automotive sector;
Advising a US fund on its investment in a French company in the entertainment sector;
Advising the founders and partners of a Franco-Chinese company on its sale to a French group in the education sector;
Advising the US group Nocturne and the US fund Gladstone on the acquisition of the French company Wimco in the tourism sector;
Advising the American group AccuWeather on its acquisition of the French company Plume Labs.

Holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law and International Arbitration from New York University (New York University School of Law, United States), an LL.M. in Commercial Law and European Law from the University of Bristol (United Kingdom), a DESS in Business Law and Taxation from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University (France) and a DEA in European Business Law from Paris X Nanterre University (France).
