“If the world were clear, art would not exist” – M. Blanchot

The same applies to law! This quote, which refers to the world of art that I am particularly fond of, perfectly illustrates our profession as solicitors: if the rules governing our professional activities were simple and clear, solicitors would probably not exist either. My role is to provide you with clarification and solutions in an increasingly regulated world, in the context of your often complex and financially significant real estate transactions, investments and litigation.

What drives me?

My taste for fieldwork, my curiosity about technology and my desire to make it accessible to lawyers and to make the law less daunting for my professional contacts in the property sector. Whether in court or on a building site, you have to be precise, tactical and tenacious in order to build on solid foundations and achieve the best results. As in a museum when viewing a work of art, you also need to be curious, imaginative and passionate when handling our cases and supporting our clients.

Expertise

With over 25 years’ specialisation in commercial litigation, I have developed specific expertise in property and construction law over the years.
I provide both advisory and litigation services to property developers, project owners, builders, project managers and all other parties involved in the construction process.

My main areas of expertise:

  • I assist my clients before the start of construction with the aim of securing operations upstream (particularly in the drafting of contracts, negotiations with neighbours regarding planned projects, and preventive summary proceedings), then throughout the life of the project, with a view to anticipating potential risks and taking into account environmental issues and the impact of Proptech innovations.
  • I also support them in pre-litigation and litigation at all stages of their projects, from technical expertise operations to court proceedings, seeking to favour amicable settlement of disputes and always taking a practical and concrete approach to legal issues, while demonstrating precision and tenacity.
